Prince George Transit
Located in BC's interior, Prince George Transit Ltd. has been operated continuously since 1965, making it one of the first and longest standing private contracts of a transit system in the Province of British Columbia. A skilled team of drivers, maintenance and support staff ensure that the transit needs of the community are achieved. Prince George Transit Ltd. operates 31 transit buses and provides over 65,000 Service Hours and travels 1.5 million kilometres annually; over 2.0 million passengers use the transit service each year .
Conventional Transit – The Prince George Transit System, under joint contract with BC Transit and the City of Prince George, now operates over 1.5 million kilometres annually, with total ridership in excess of 2.0 million passengers. In 2006, the entire Prince George Transit fleet became wheelchair accessible.
